The medium in which you choose to market your business and products is extremely important if you want your product to be taken seriously.  Undeniably, and equally important, is the quality of the design and layout that you have printed.

While you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, many people still do.  This is why the image you present to the world is so important. In some cases, it trumps the quality of the product you are selling. 

Besides the fact that people are very much wrapped up in "image"; In this day and age, with the availability of designers and the amazing tools we have to work with - you have no excuse for bad designs.

A poorly designed product image can make or break the success of the item.  These days' people expect businesses to be thorough and on the ball.  You can spend day and night developing the greatest product known to man.  If you put little effort into the presentation of your product,   it gives people the impression that you put little effort into everything involved with the product - Including the quality of the product itself.
